While other Trip Apps will simply show you what your booking looked like at the time of your confirmation e-mail, My Flights will always be up to date, and even notify you if the airline has changed your allocated seat!
What information can My Flights show about my booking?My Flights will display the following information about your booking:
- Passengers and their Frequent Flyer numbers
- E-Ticket numbers
- Airline and Flight numbers
- Flight arrival and departure dates and times
- Airports and terminals of departure/arrival
- Seat allocations
- Class of Service
- Fare Booking Code or Fare Basis
- Aircraft
- Airline confirmation numbers
- Booking comments, restrictions and reservation office
Do I need to sign up for any accounts?No. Just start using My Flights with your existing bookings.
What's this Booking Reference you speak of?The Amadeus Booking Reference is 6 characters (e.g. A2JKH3). This is often given to you by the Travel Agent or Airline, but occasionally they'll give you a different reference. Check your booking confirmation e-mail as this should give you the Booking Reference. If not, give them a call and ask them.I've found my Booking Reference, but My Flights can't find my booking. What's wrong?First off, make sure your reference is 6 characters, and that you haven't got your Os and Zeros mixed up. Then try your booking reference at Check My Trip - if it works there, it should work in My Flights. If that's not the case e-mail me and I'll try to resolve the problem for you.What if information in the booking is wrong?My Flights will display the booking held by the airline or travel agent's reservation system. Should some of the information be incorrect, it is suggested you contact your airline or travel agent.
Can I use My Flights to change my seat for a flight?No - My Flights allows you to display and save existing bookings, but if you wish to make changes to the booking you must contact your travel agent or the airline.
Does My Flights use Push Notifications?The current version of My Flights (v1.2) now features Push Notifications. Update to the latest version in the AppStore now!
What are Push Notifications?
Push Notifications mean that you will be notified of changes to your booking even when you're not currently using the App. Our servers will regularly check your bookings throughout the day, and if we find one has changed, we'll send an alert to your iPhone to tell notify you.
Why would I want to view my bookings offline?
There are a number of occasions when you might want to view the details of your booking, but are unable to obtain an Internet connection. One example of this is when on an aeroplane without WiFi capabilities - perhaps to check your onward connection details.
How do I view my bookings offline?
When you retrieve your booking using the Find tab, click the Save button to store the booking on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Your booking will now be saved under the Upcoming Trips tab, and can be viewed even when you don't have an Internet connection.
Will My Flights work over WiFi?
Yes, My Flights will use whichever Internet connection is currently in use on your iPhone or iPod Touch, whether it's WiFi, 3G, EDGE or GPRS.
What bookings can I use with My Flights?
My Flights currently supports all AMADEUS reservations. AMADEUS is the reservation system used by many airlines and travel agents.
How do I know if my booking is with AMADEUS?
You can check your booking by visiting checkmytrip.com and entering your booking reference and last name. If your booking is found, then it is an AMADEUS booking and will work with My Flights.

Why can't I search for a flight I took a month ago?Once all flights in a booking have been completed, the booking will only be available on the airline reservation system for a very short time afterward.
Why is there a Past Trips tab?If you complete all trips on a booking which has been saved in My Flights, it will be moved to the Past Trips tab. This is to give you access to trips you have already flown, but to ensure the Upcoming Trips tab is kept uncluttered.
My Mobile Phone provider charges a lot for roaming data. How can I stop My Flights from checking for booking changes?On the Settings tab you can change the "Automatically check bookings for updates" option to OFF. While this is set to OFF, you can manually check for booking changes by pressing "Press here to check for changes".
Why can't I see some of the information (e.g. Booking Comments)?My Flights allows you to view your booking in Basic or Detail views. This is to allow people who just want the essentials to view them without the more detailed information. To switch between Basic and Detail views, press the Detail/Basic button at the top of your display when viewing a booking. The default view to be used can be selected in the Settings tab.What information do you hold about my bookings?In order to use Push Notifications, the My Flights server will store the last look up for each of your saved upcoming bookings. This way we can automatically check if there are any changes and send an alert to your iPhone. Bookings not saved on your iPhone (or removed from your iPhone) and any past trips are not stored on our servers.Known IssuesResolved Issues in Previous VersionsThe App Closes when I press the FIND or SETTINGS tabThis happens if you are running OS 3.0. My Flights v1.2 won't allow me to turn on Push Notifications
In some cases when upgrading from Version 1.1 to 1.2, Push Notifications aren't enabled. This was resolved in version 1.2.1. Ensure you have the latest version by checking for App Updates in the AppStore.
